Carpentersville's Civil War Reenactment

History Comes Alive at the Annual Carpentersville Civil War Reenactment on October 5-6 2019 in Carpenters Park in the Village of Carpentersville, Illinois. Stanford’s Battery reenactors in partnership with the Village of Carpentersville and the Carpentersville Special Events Committee will host the Carpentersville Civil War Reenactment the first weekend of August 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. in Carpenters Park just minutes away from I-90 and Route 31 exit.

 

Civil War Reenactment units will be camping out at the park all weekend, and special events will run throughout the day. Watch the 1860s ear 25 piece band march down Spring Street to the park, enjoy living history demonstrations, and much much more. The highlight of each afternoon will be a battle between Union and Confederate soldiers. A schedule of events will be posted with additional details.

 

Visitors
Hours: The Carpentersville Civil War Reenactment opens to the public on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (Reenactor’s Ball) and on Sunday from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
